PTRA American Yard lies just south of Market Street on west side of Federal Road.

10 Classification Tracks with a capacity of 400 railcars.

American Yard is a classification/serving yard for industries on the north side of the Houston Ship Channel.

PTRA Penn City Yard

PTRA Penn City Yard lies on the north side of the Houston Ship Channel south of Jacintoport Blvd. and west of the Beltway 8 Sam Houston Tollway.

Static Capacity:

3 Tracks with a capacity of 120 railcars.

Servicing:  

Penn City Yard supports the industries on the north side of the Houston Ship Channel.

PTRA Manchester Yard

PTRA Manchester Yard lies at the intersection of the east loop of 610 and Manchester Street.

Static Capacity:

With the 2009 expansion project completed, the yard has a static capacity of 800 cars with 26 classification tracks.

Interchange:

Direct interchange with the UP and BNSF.

PTRA Pasadena Yard

PTRA Pasadena Yard lies east of the Washburn Tunnel, north of Red Bluff on the south side of the Houston Ship Channel.

Static Capacity:

15 Classification Tracks with a capacity of 700 railcars.

Interchange:

Direct interchange with the UP and BNSF.

Receive an average of 33 trains and depart an average of 52 trains per week.
